Great for sensitive skin
I was pleasantly surprised. I’m elderly, sensitive skin with roseacea. This stuff was great. It cleaned my face and my skin was soft. Fyi, as we get older, some of us get skin that’s thinner and more sensitive and delicate. I appreciate this product. Something us elders can use, without harmful chemicals. Thank you

I rarely give 5 star reviews for skin care products, but this cleanser by Dr. Eve is a game changer! This K-beauty find delivers on everything it promises, and then some.Rice cleansers have gained popularity over the last couple of years; known for their cleansing and exfoliating properties. One of the best aspects of using K-beauty products is that they use mainly natural ingredients. This formula is from rice water extract, adlay seeds, and 5-ceramide complex. What makes this product so effective is the ingredient’s deep cleansing, exfoliating and moisturizing properties. It helps to protect the skin barrier as well, which is novel in a cleanser.The texture is like that of a gentle exfoliator, which turns into a lightweight foam when water is added. I could feel the deep cleaning from the seeds the first time I used it, and when I dried my skin, it was hydrated as if I’d already used a moisturizer. I’m 45, and have dry, sensitive skin, so this was a revelation for me. I’m a skin care fanatic, and have used many products over the years but never has my skin felt so soft after I’d used a cleanser. It’s a great first step for my regimen.You can also use this on dry skin as a two minute mask, or as an exfoliator proper by using less water. The cleanser comes with a little spoon to measure the proper amount of product; a little goes a long way. There is a subtle smell that is consistent with the natural ingredients, I wouldn’t call it fragrance.My skin has never felt or looked better after cleansing. My intermittent, mild breakouts have stopped as well. For the price point, this amazing cleanser is a steal. 5 bright stars. 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Unscented (hurrah!), cleans well, a bit stripping for me
I like this, generally. Big plus for being unscented. It’s thick and comes with a little spoon you can use if you wish. For me, it takes a pea-sized amount rubbed between wet hands to lather up enough to wash my face, so the jar should last well. If I do a mask, it takes a bit more. You can feel the little rice pieces (or whatever) exfoliating, but it’s not like some of the products of my youth where it was primarily a sort of grit. While it says it’s for dry skin, I find that if I use it outside of my t-zone, my skin gets a bit taught, so I think it’s a bit stripping for me. That said, just a whisper of moisturizer restores the barrier. It cleans my more visible pores effectively, so I’ll continue to use it in the t-zone, and once a week or so on my whole face.The ingredients listed on the box are below.
