Favorite night cream
This is my favorite night cream and I have tried a lot. Leaves my face feeling soft but it’s not super heavy like most other night creams. Not much of a scent and it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin or make me break out. It doesn’t burn like some night creams do either.

Incredibly moisturizing! If you’re using Retin-A (tretinoin) you need this cream.
A little over a month ago I started using Retin-A (tretinoin) which can be very drying, especially in the first few weeks of use. Since beginning the regimen, I’ve struggled to find a lotion rich enough to moisturize my skin in one application and leave it feeling that way for more than a couple hours. This Aveeno Positively Radiant Night Cream has changed all of that. It leaves my skin feeling and looking moisturized for a solid eight hours after application. It also seems to have helped with restoring my skin’s natural moisture balance, as after showering, my face doesn’t immediately feel dry and tight like it was before. Prior to finding this product, I was using Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream and it just wasn’t cutting it. I would apply the cream and feel as though I needed to apply more within the first hour.Pros: deeply moisturizing and restorative yet light in consistency, moisturizes significantly better than competitors’ much more expensive products therefore making this product an incredible value; gentle enough for sensitive skinCons: this cream has a perfume-like fragrance that is not overbearing but is noticeable and lasts some time after application. I wish it was unscented or had a more neutral scent.

I have been using Aveeno Positively Radiant Face Cream for weeks now, and it’s quickly becoming a staple in my skincare routine. The texture is rich yet very lightweight. It absorbs quickly without feeling greasy. I also loves that it contains soy complex. It works great under my makeup too.

the grandma scent is super strong
Positives: The cream is VERY moisturizing. It doesn’t feel watery at all. At first, I was surprised at how small the tub of lotion is but there seems to be a lot of lotion inside. A little goes a long way.Negatives: I broke out on my chin and cheeks (weird!) when using it, but I have pretty sensitive skin. Not too big of a deal, but here is the deal breaker:The scent is crazy strong! It’s not an off-smell, like it’s expired or something. It is just over powering! And to me it smells like older lady smell. Like my grandma would love to wear this scent. I put it on and walked into the same room as my husband and he crinkled his nose and asked ‘why i put on weird perfume before bed’. Now I put it on my feet with socks over it. What a waste.

It’s been over 3 weeks and the dry, flaky skin at the corners of my mouth is almost all gone. My skin tone is visibly lighter and smoother. Although, my post-acne hyper-pigmentation spots haven’t faded very much at all despite the fact that I also use a Vit C serum.Therefore, the cream is best suited for skin that has a low level of hyper-pigmentation issues.
