Is it fragrance-free? / Does it have a scent?
No added fragrance. Any scent comes from the mild natural ingredients and fades after application.
Does it leave a white cast? Does it leave a matte finish?
With the mineral tint this face sunscreen does not leave a white cast and is suitable on a variety of skin tones. If anything it starts out a little dark and blends as you rub it in. It does have a sheer tint which leave a matte finish.
Can it be used under makeup? Does it leave a residue?
Yes. Rub it in so the sunscreen can blend, allow it to set for 1-2 minutes, then apply makeup. The sunscreen feels light and nourshing once set. For best feel apply smaller amounts in layers.
Is it hypoallergenic? Does it contain parabens?
This gentle mineral sunscreen formula is hypoallergenic and dermatologist tested for sensitive skin. The simple natural ingredient list contains no parabens.
Is it water resistant?
Yes. This sunscreen is sweat and water resistant for 40 minutes. Reapply every 2 hours or after towel drying.

Amazing clean product
While I really loved the previous tinted sunscreen that was discontinued, this one works just as well. This version gives your skin more of a sun-kissed glow. It looks dark coming out of the tube but blends in well, no orange look to it and no white cast. Love The fact that it is 80% organic and completely unscented, this makes it a great option for those with sensitive skin who react to the fragrance. My face is mostly dry and this gives moisture to it on top of that tinted glow. Definitely going to purchase again and highly recommend 👌 might not work out for everyone, still an amazing product!

Don’t get intimated by the color.
Although the color looked dark when it’s squeezed out, it blended into the skin almost colourlessly, and left a nice sun-kissed glow. I was thinking to use it as contour but ended up using it all over the face and my friend said my skin looked great.

This sunscreen feels fine. It is super greasy and takes a bit to get it spread. Less is more. It is certainly not sheer. This is a standard mineral sunscreen that is tinted.

Looks bad and feels worse
The tinting makes my skin look red, but more unfortunately, this product makes my skin burn. I tested it by switching to a different tinted sunscreen for a few weeks, and sure enough, when I went back to using Badger, my skin felt irritated and dry after one day of wearing it.

Everything I need in my facial sun protection including smooth application and a tint that evens out my complexion. For those with frontal scalp inflammation and scarring Alopecia, it’s a good, clean product.

I really wanted to love this sunscreen. I have been using MDSolarScience and Drmtlgy tinted sunscreens for years. Yuka did not give either a good rating. Their favorite was this one. It is not a sheer tint. I forgot my makeup in a recent trip and this was more like a foundation. It is a bit greasy and takes a bit for it to rub in. Use it in small amounts and them add as needed.

I bought these for a trip to Florida. I have very sensitive skin that is prone to break outs and this product was recommended. I used it every day and my skin looked great and although I was in the hot Florida sun, my face was well protected.
